About me, home safety and SBI in South Africa
Let me tell you about me and how I got started building my website.

I would like to tall you a little bit about me, and how I got started with SBI!.
SBI! has given me a positive future with financial stability!
A few years ago, my husband was offered a contract in Saudi Arabia. Because we were in our 50's without much to show for it, we decided to go ahead and accept the offer. Of course, it meant I had to give up my job.
Yes, we saved quite a bit. Enough for my husband, together with a partner to open their own small business when we finally got home to Cape Town in South Africa.
While we were Living in Jeddah, I decided to build a website for South Africans wanting to accept job offers in Saudi Arabia. It was one of those "freebie" sites and when I look at it today, I want to die of embarrasment. (Actually it is still up and running)
NO! I won't give you the site url, because I plan to rebuild that site from the ground up - but this time with SBI! (a new window will open).
After we got back home, while trying to figure out what my next step was going to be, I did some websurfing and came across SBI! for the first time, but fool that I was, I did nothing about it.
There I was - a retired Grandma with a healthy interest in life and a qualified Emergency Medical Technician – Intermediate. I didn't have a clue what I was going to do with myself.
I used to work with an ambulance service in Cape Town for a number of years and am still registered with the HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa), but the ambulance service didn't want me back. As far as they were concerned, I was now too old to go charging around chasing after emergencies.
Soon after my return to South Africa, my daughter got married and this was followed by her pregnancy and my first grandchld.
I then discovered that my daughter and many of her friends had lots of questions about the safety of their children, particularly at home, and what to do if something went wrong.
So, I started to write a simple manual to help them cope with the type of emergencies that most, if not all mothers have to deal with at some time or another.
I have experienced the trials, tribulations and traumas that my own three children have gone through and also those of many other mothers and their families because of my work with the ambulance service.
At one point, I wondered if it would be possible to create a web-site. After all, If my daughter and her wide circle of friends needed the information, what about all the other young families out there.
I decided to do a little research (but I wanted something a lot better than the one that I had done whilst living in Saudi Arabia. Then one day, while surfing the net, I came across
Site Build It
, (a new window will open) This was the second time that I had come across that name. They had loads of free E-books related to my own questions. Quite obviously, I downloaded some of them and started to read, and then I became excited.
Please go to my special

(a new window will open) and find out what got me so excited.
You can add value to your life and to the life of others by putting your own knowledge onto an SBI website and earn an income as well.
Certainly, I found the Special Prize (a new window will open) that SBI! offers to everyone who joins the team. Yes - Team! I discovered amongst other things that no one works alone. Every other member of SBI is just waiting to help you out.
In addition, I was also delighted to find out just how many South Africans are also SBI! site owners.
Of course if you are interested in having your own wonderful site, but have a few questions (a new window will open) to ask, then there is no better group of people to chat to than a whole bunch of SBI site owners.
I always told my kids to follow their hearts and do work that they truly love, even if it did not provide much money in the beginning.
Now it is my turn. With the help of SBI I am writing about what I love for people I care about.
Don't make any mistakes. This is not a "Get-Rich-Quick" scheme. There is a lot of hard work involved. I am building a solid business that will protect me during my retirement years and which I will be able to hand over to my children as part of their inheritance.
An extra plus for me is that no matter where I go within South Africa or abroad, I can take my business with me. What more could anybody want.
Meet some South African SBI! site-owners by clicking on their banners below and viewing their sites. (in each instance a new window will open), then come back here and join us at SBI!
