This page of Family Links and Parenting links is essentially a gift to you. As a young mother, there was very little information available and I just had to bumble along learning as I went.

I have looked for websites, which I believe compliment my own beliefs and listed them below ( in each instance, a new window will open.).  I hope that you will find many things to interest you and your family.  As I find more good sites, I will include them as well, and if you know of one that you believe will be of help to other parents and kids, then please contact me so that I can include those sites as well.

By the way, to read about new information on home, child safety, health and parenting subjects, and also to be able to receive at least one free gift every month, please sign up for my monthly newsletter. You will find the form at the left under the menu or you can go to the Moms Home Safety Ezine page.

Don't forget that if you have a filtering system on your Email, you will need to whitelist this site as you will be asked to confirm that you are indeed, the person asking for the newsletter. If you don't whitelist it, your email service could very probably toss it out without ever telling you.

MyParenting Network

This is to introduce a brand new site which is also a spin-off from Moms Home Safety.

I am inviting 500 parents to become beta members of a very exciting project. Once this limit has been reached, the site will be closed to all new members, until such time as the official launch.

Whether you are an "about to be" parent, or a great-grandparent; a stay-at-home parent; or a working parent; a teen parent or a bereaved parent; a single mom or a single dad, our site will have something for you.

Create or join a group. Post queries or answers in the group forums. Join in the live chat and have your say. Want to sell or swop household items, use the classifieds. Need to organize an event in your area, we have the facility to advertise that for you as well.

Beta members are encouraged to contact me directly and advise on problems with regard to the site, or with suggestions for improvement. A private group has been formed for you, the founder Members, to easily make contact with me. If you already have a site of your own, you are welcome to advertise your services or site free of charge for the remainder of 2008, as long as there is no direct competitive advertising.

It is important of course to remember that as a beta site, we will be tweaking some things here and there and we would really welcome your feedback.

We have a number of projects in the pipe-line, including an article directory, specifically for subjects related to children and parenting; as well as the ability to customize "your Site".
